User Login Statement
Please Review All Carefully
If you lose your userID or password, contact YOUR company's FROL account administrator. They can access your user profile through the Setup function and retreive your UserID and/or assign you a new temporary password. FirstReport Online does not issue or maintain UserIDs and Passwords for customers. We only provide "one" Master UserID to the customer. The customer can create, manage and delete all UserIDs and Passwords to that account.
At FirstReport Online, we take application security very seriously. This is why you are required to supply a userID and password in order to access our service. System security is directly related to the manner in which the userIDs and passwords are controlled.
If a person attempts to access the system with an invalid userID or password, the service must assume it is someone attempting to gain unauthorized access to the system. Therefore an account lockout policy is utilized to restrict access to the system only to legitimate users.
Lockout Policy
In the event a user supplies a valid userID but an invalid password for four consecutive logon attempts, each less than 30 minutes apart, that user account will be locked out of the system for a period of 30 minutes.
In the event a user supplies an invalid userID for four consecutive logon attempts each less than 30 minutes apart, that user’s internet address will be locked out of the system for a period of 30 minutes.
This lockout period cannot be manually reset by the system administrators (FirstReport Online). The user’s only recourse is to wait for the 30 minute duration and then try again.
Note: In a situation where a number of user’s share a common internet address, all user’s sharing that internet address will be locked out of the system for the 30 minute duration.
Security is #1
We at FirstReport Online recognize that the lockout policy may be inconvenient to a legitimate user that has simply misplaced their password, however, there is no way to make this situation more convenient without reducing system security.
