Location Profile
At least one location profile is required for an account. An employer account can have 17,000 locations and a location can have up to 640 departments. The location profile requires several fields that are marked in red boxes.
The two most important are "Location Name" and "State". Each name must be unique to that employer and 30 characters or less. If two locations are created with the same name both will be listed for selection and confusion will occur. The location name is printed on OSHA logs and other compliance documents therefore be selective in naming locations.
The "State" value chosen during creation cannot be changed once saved. This is because the Workers Comp data captured for a location is state specific. Be sure to enter the correct state.
