Department profile
A Department profile is required for an account. An account must have one location and one department in that location. A location can have up to 640 departments. The Department profile requires one field that are marked in red box.
The Department name must be unique and 30 characters or less. If two Departments are created with the same name both will be listed for selection and confusion will occur. The Department name is not printed on OSHA logs and other compliance documents. Therefore you may have only one Department named. Multiple departments permit further grouping of the data as a management function.
